Miller Hospice provides specialized care during the final stage of life where the patients reside, whether in their home, assisted living or nursing facility. Care is provided by an experienced team of physicians, registered nurses, certified nurse aides, medical social workers, and trained volunteers. They are all available to help you and your family manage your loved one’s illness.

Your physician and Miller Hospice team will work with you to set up a comprehensive plan of care to manage your symptoms and assess the needs of your family. An assigned nurse will make regular scheduled visits to your home to ensure your comfort. A nurse is on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to provide you and your family support and care when needed. 

Miller Hospice Medical Directors are additional resources to patients’ existing physicians. They are additional resources for the hospice team and community physicians and to the patient and family. Patients have the right to choose who they desire to have serve as their attending physician for hospice care. Most often, we play a coordination role with the patient’s existing doctor.
