Opportunities
We would love to have you as a hospice volunteer!
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Miller Hospice. As a volunteer, you help us offer more expertise, more resources, and a more complete continuum of compassionate care to patients facing life-limiting illnesses and end-of-life transitions. Volunteer roles include working directly with patients and their families wherever they call home, helping with administrative tasks, and providing special event support. We thank you for wanting to share your skills and talents with Miller Hospice.
Our volunteers do a variety of jobs:
- Listening and sharing stories
- Hold a hand
- Play a game, read to them or write down their memories
- Serve a meal
- Household maintenance
- Provide administrative support in our office
- Bring birthday goodies to our patients celebrating their birthday
